I was reading about this CIOS fix @ gbatemp. comments there said that the fix enables to run Mario Kart beyond the first stage, also good results with Wario but other games were affected and no longer boot, like de blob and others. Also, if using Wiigator's backup launcher, a change in the options is needed. can't remember well but it was something about changing "vi" to "gc", sorry i'm not specific. With the channel itself, I have not tested it yet and maybe will wait for positive comments on it. BE CAREFUL WITH THE CIOS FIX IF YOU USE IT!
is this fix the original or not?
ive tested the new .dol loader and its allright...... its a lil faster, just enough to notice.
i have plenty of backups and ill post feedback ina fiew.

Alright well. There were two examples that it was suggested didn't boot, de Blob, and Mario Super Sluggers, and they both loaded fine for me (deBlob pal force NTSC loaded fine, Super sluggers rumored didnt load from one loader to the next and loaded fine.) I haven't tested everything Ive got, but stuff that several items that didnt load before seem to be loading, and I havent been able to verify an item that loaded before that doesn't load anymore. The only thing that doesn't load normally are certain out-of-region items, but they didn't load before either.
de Blob- PAL- works fine only diff u can now watch the opening w/tf and movie(choppy sound)
Samba DE Amigo- NTSC- works fine (slow song load{may freeze, dont panic}
Speed Racer- NTSC- works great (HELLA FAST LOAD TIMES)
Mario Supper Sluggers- NTSC- works fine (inning load times are a drag)
Star Wars TFU- NTSC- works allright, ive had problems with this game *DVD-R freezes at same level, DVD+R smooth.... but i get this weird freeze and it makes a terrible sound when it freezes*(right after the junk golems)
Boom Blox- PAL- works allright, occasionally the game background wont load. ive tried letting the EA movie play through. THIS GAME HAS A MIND OF ITZ OWN
Wario Ware SM- NTSC- loads fast as shit!!!, occasional freeze. be patient, game works great
ive got zelda but im too lazy to play sense i had to delete my save data GDit

I've been using Wiigators 0.1 backup launcher cuz it has wider compatibility. I have booted succesfully this games: de Blob, Mario Super Sluggers, Excite Truck, No More Heroes,Mario Kart (only the first race and stucks loading the second, multiplayer works fine; FIFA 09, Soul Calibur Legends, Iron Man. All those work fine, some like Iron Man load very fast, others have choppy cut scenes and all. Anyway, can anyone post the link to the 0.2 dol? or is it necessary to install the backup loader channel? Thanx in advance.
Ok, lets do something about this confusion. The current loader is known as 0.2 and has a blue appearence with the hook type option disabled by default. The original has (I believe a red) appearence with the hook option set to IV by default. The new loader known as 0.2 (the current one I presume) is labeled 0.1 inside the loader itself. What is everyone talking about items not loading on the new one that loaded on the original? We need items that LOADED BEFORE that DONT LOAD NOW. Do we have any real examples worth looking at? We preferrably need people who tested the first AND second ones to find particular examples where the items loaded in the first loader but not the second. By the way the de Blob opening worked in the first loader, it was also choppy. Anyone got anything different?

Also, whats this about a cIOS fix?
I downloaded the leaked cIOS and I think it works fine, by fixed cIOS, do you mean the fixed version of the one waninkoko released officially?

Alright. Is this a new version: My answer is yes. There was a loader cIOS combination and they're both different than the original loader and the cIOS that was released. That by my standards is a different version. Officially? The loader is still labeled 0.1, even though all downloads label it 0.2, and the "new cIOS" is only dubbed "cIOS_fix". The two together create a combo that as far as Im concerned is a new version of the loader. The new loader requires the new cIOS and the new cIOS requires the new loader, they work as a combo. Asked and answered?
I've had what seems like, slightly faster load times AND The Price Is Right working now with this new version! :D
