A sd gecko is used with a wiikey modchip to dump games to a sd card 2gb or under, or run homebrew. Do you have a wiikey? What exactly are you trying to do?
hey, i have a very similar unit, its made by wiikey but its the exact same as an SD gecko.I cant use it because i dont have an actual pressed copy of Action Replay.(it has some sort of SD boot menu) I also notice the previous post says something about a wiikey modchip, but i think that you would only need it to boot a backup of action Replay in order to access the sd boot function. On another note, if your not a progammer than why need the sd Gecko in the first place?
It's not working anymore since FW 2.1 (I think this was the FW) Probally it still works with WiiKEY but not on a new Wii
you might want to ask on wiird.l0nk.org
Nuke, the creator, hangs out there.
you know that wani's 1.4 wad manager allows you to use a usb storage device to install wads, just seems like and awful lot of work
