For those of you who accidentally updated to 4.2 for some reason, you may be in luck! If you can use the Indiana pwns or Smash Stack exploits (or even wait till tomorrow perhaps for a new bannerbomb) then you will be able to install homebrew again! The guys over at hackmii.com have released their latest hackmii installer, bumping the version up to 0.5.
The surprise comes not only in the installer though. While the installer has been updated to work with the new system menu 4.2, the bundled applications have also gotten an update, and quite a big update for the homebrew channel! Some visual changes, font updates, and speed improvements have been noted, along with a new hot swap method for removable devices, allowing you to update the contents of the device without reloading the hbc! For more in-depth descriptions and a full changelog please visit http://hackmii.com/2009/09/silly_games/ and grab the latest copy for yourself!
The installer can be gotten directly over at http://bootmii.org/ for those of you who don't care about the blog post or change log.
