Team Twiizers have release a new exploit for LEGO Indiana Jones.
Since the details are limited, I would have to only assume that this is to be used to run the HackMii Installer.

| Extremely short instructions: put this savegame on your Wii (if you have one on there already that you want to keep, back it up first!), start the game, walk to the “art room” (find some walkthrough on the intertubes if you cannot find it), look at the second character, enjoy! Kudos to “roto” for finding the original buffer overflow, and many thanks for doing lots of testing! |

Its great there is yet another exploit, but is it really that good of an idea to release it when we still have bannerbomb + the ssbb exploit? Theyre only setting themselves up to get the exploit fixed before its even used...
I agree, but isn't this exploit safer and legal?
i wasnt aware any of them were legal/illegal... All of the exploits are essentially the same, a buffer overflow bug which loads code on the sd card...
LMAO.. "Indiana Pwns". Indeed, it does. Especially when it comes to the NFL. :P
yeah. this certifies that the wii will see homebrew as long as it lives.
the only possible way nintendo can stop it now is by either pouring tons of resources into reverse engineering hacks and fixing exploits, or by creating a completely new system interface altogether, which is pretty much impossible.

Yeah... Team Twiizers doesn't like anything illegal. They are an anti-pirate group.

I've been doing some reading on this. The LEGO Indiana Jones exploit was mentioned sometime back in June. So, Nintendo was probably already aware of the issue. Team Twiizers are pretty smart about holding onto unreleased exploits, until they are necessary! =)

Well yes im perfectly aware of that, but i didnt know that an exploit COULD be legal or illegal is what i meant. As long as you utilize your own code, and not use copyrighted code, i don't think they can do anything about it...
Right. From my understanding, that is why the BannerBomb is "illegal". It uses copyrighted code.
hmm, i was unaware it did. If thats the case, wouldnt nintendo have taken action by now and gotten the website shut down? I mean, unlike wads which are distributed via rapidshare/mediafire, etc, bannerbomb has its own website directly hosting the files...
The new Wii Homebrew Hack has been released. You can play backups, DVD’s, and import games on Any Wii (including 4.0 and 4.1) without a modchip and WITHOUT Zelda!
