I just recently installed the new cIOSX rev18. When I tried to install a .WAD I get a -1029 error. Anyone mind telling me what this error pertains to?

there's another error that pops up sometimes when whatever you're installing (or just c/IOS maybe?) is <= the current version. In that case, I uninstall using the same wad I'm trying to install, then install immediately after the uninstall finishes.

Well tbh i didnt know the errors offhand but i knew there were two (-1 and -2011 i recognize from the chart) which are the only ones people ever bring up, and i think once or twice ever ive seen the error for a bad wad. In the end though i thought i would just save everyone a whole lot of time asking but letting them know that theyre error is MOST LIKELY caused by the lack of a cios, which as i

Hm, surprised you didn't mention the particular error #s. -2011 and -1017 are most common.
